Ujjivan acquired a state-of-the-art Data Centre in July. This would enable the use of SAN architecture for data storage and meet Ujjivan’s future technology needs. The Data Center would support applications across the organization and is housed in a custom-built, temperature controlled environment at the Ujjivan Head Office in Bangalore.
The Data Centre can accommodate 14 servers. Thus, dedicated servers for specific functions such as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) and Management Information System (MIS) are being supported by the Data Centre.
Strong IT infrastructure remains the backbone of Ujjivan’s ability to efficiently deliver financial services to its customers. Ujjivan would be rolling out cutting edge technology applications to support its operations in the near future, which would be supported by the Data Centre.
