Delhi and Kolkata Launch Regional Operations

After months of preparation, Ujjivan marked a major milestone for its back-office operations by distributing data processing to its regional offices in Kolkata and Delhi. Through real-time database replicating technology, each regional office is now able to fully support the operational activities going on in the branches. Greater efficiencies with set turnaround times will filter down to customers in all regions through faster loan disbursements and improved customer service.

Ujjivan is the first user of the software provider, Craft Silicon, to make this enhancement in India. The initiative further establishes Ujjivan as a leader in the microfinance industry for instituting modern banking practices, combined with cutting edge technology.
