Lakshmi, a customer of the Ujjivan Anekal branch became the first to avail the Mobile Phone loan that Ujjivan now offers. In an effort to go beyond financial services and provide customers with additional products and services, Ujjivan has tied up with Nokia and Airtel to offer customers a troika of products – a mobile phone, financing for the phone and a GSM connection. Customers can choose from the three different models on offer, based on their need. Ujjivan offers customers a basic phone at the lower end and feature-rich phones with a camera and a music player at the higher end.
Going forward, Ujjivan hopes to make available different products which were earlier inaccessible to customers and also add value by delivering a bouquet of services through a single window.
