To mark the success of the financial year 2008-2009 & plan for the year 2009-2010 East Region Distribution team & leaders from all department  spent two days at “Dreamland Resorts” at   “Mondarmoni”, a virgin beach by the Bay of Bengal coast in West Bengal.

After arriving at the resort and settling in, Mr. Gautam Gan, COO-East, gave an inaugural speech to kick the event off.  He first ensured that branch managers and members of the leadership team from different areas were seated next to each other and then spoke about the importance of teambuilding.  The team that is usually spread across four states in many branches was able to get to know each other and learn about operations in different areas.  All attendees participated in team building games like treasure hunt and mine blast, enabling the team to come closer together.

During the second day, there were a series of presentation and talks given by various team members about the organization.  Mr. Gan started the morning off with a motivational presentation that inspired the staff to focus on core principles as they grow the business in the coming financial year.  The HR Department gave a presentation on future plans and Col. Murthy, Head of HR, gave a speech about HR’s vision for serving employees.  The Distribution Supervisory Team then presented on their specific regions and Administration spoke about the changes they wish to put in place.  Promotions were announced and individuals were facilitated with their promotion letters, after which the Best CRMs were announced and congratulated.  In the evening, everyone relaxed on the beach and enjoyed playing musical chairs, dancing and general entertainment.

The entire event was a great success and the East Team was able to connect and understand common goals for the coming financial year.
