In the West, celebrations were the flavour of the month in December. It was in the January of 2009, that Ujjivan started its operations in the West region, with branches in Pune. Today, Ujjivan West is a year old and has grown to 18 branches across Maharashtra with a customer base of over 20,000.In December, the team in the West decided to take stock of the year gone by – celebrate the achievements, learn from the mistakes and launch into the next phase of growth.
After gaining impetus in Pune and Nashik, Team West has decided to take up the challenge of serving the poor in India’s financial capital, Mumbai.
