On 15th July, 2009 Ujjivan’s West region crossed the milestone of 10,000 customers. The fact that the region reached this figure within 6 months of starting operations while ensuring quality customer induction is a testament to the ability and the dedication of the West region’s staff. Such an effort requires resilient and efficient synergies between the different departments working towards a common goal. The news of this achievement was met with warm appreciation by the National Leadership team who were meeting for the quarterly business review in Kolkata. The West region has now set its sight on the next significant milestone of serving 25,000 economically active poor women and through them their families
