On October 19th, 2009, Ujjivan crossed the 500,000 customer mark.
The Ujjivan journey has had its ups and downs, but the team has backed each other in the face adversity and the results are there for all to see. While this milestone shows how far Ujjivan has come as an organisation, it also puts into perspective the goal of reaching out to 2,000,000 customers through 500 branches across India by 2012.
Going forward, the key challenge would be to ensure customer satisfaction and service quality, while continuing to grow the customer base by inducting only quality customers in the face of increased competition and a constantly changing environment.
