Ujjivan HR team goes to the “HR School”

The “HR School”, conducted by Cocoon Consulting was held at the Ujjivan Head Office in Bangalore in February. The comprehensive workshop was delivered in three modules- through August’09, October’09 and February’10.

The course was both intensive and interactive. It involved classroom sessions, assessments through quizzes, exercises, case studies and live projects that demanded focus and dedication. The modules laid emphasis on an ideal Recruitment and Hiring Process, Training and Development, Performance Management System, Compensation and Benefits and Employee Relations.

Inputs and interventions during the workshop helped the team assess how to make the transition from working operationally to a more strategic positioning and equipped the HR Team with the tools and techniques to help them in their new “strategic” role, thus enabling HR to make a positive impact on the organization’s success and growth.
