675 customers attended the functions and over 2500 children were beneficiaries of items such as mats, carpets, steel drums, study kits, toys and other amenities provided to anganwadis and government schools.

In Durgapur, customers leaders and staff suggested setting up fencing between the main road and two anganwadis to protect the little children from the running traffic on the main road.
A raised platform for a community tube-well was also constructed to help prevent collection of knee-deep mud and water logging.
Other items such as mats, utensils, toys, study kits etc. were also distributed to anganwadis.
The first ever Sports Day for customers’ children, in the Northern region, was held in Palwal. Sprints, lemon & spoon races for junior children and sack races for senior children were among several events organised.
63 children and 38 customers participated in the various events. The Sports Days are jointly organized by Parinaam Foundation and Ujjivan.
Earlier in the month, Parinaam Foundation, together with the support of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), conducted an orientation session on the ills of excessive drinking, for 92 customers and 36 other members from the community
