Kota, located on the banks of the Chambal River in Rajasthan is the desert state’s second largest city after Jaipur. A fertile, green land, Kota is a rapidly emerging commercial hub. Ujjivan held its first Centre Leader function in the city with over 150 customer centre leaders and other customers attending the function.
This was an opportunity to launch the financial literacy drive among the stakeholders. A film on financial literacy (Ganga-Jamuna produced by the Indian School of Microfinance) was also shown at the function. Money management, savings, dangers of multiple borrowing were just some of the issues discussed interactively with the customers.
Mr. Ashok Razdan, from the Service Quality Department announced the maiden launch of Customer Service Program in Rajasthan with the opening of a toll-free customer helpline and introduced the new Customer Care Representative for the branch to the gathering amidst applause and appreciation.
The cultural function concluded with a Folk Dance performance by customers and their family members.
