The Ujjivan distribution and leadership team of the North met at picturesque Shimla on 3rd and 4th September to celebrate the achievement of reaching 50,000 customers in the North region. The event was attended by the North Leadership team and the North Distribution supervisory team.
The event was kicked off on the morning of 3rd September, with a business review session by Manoj Dwivedi, former COO of the North region. He highlighted the achievements of various
employees. He also spoke about his journey as COO of the North region.
CEO Samit Ghosh addressed the gathering and shared his experiences as a Banker and his journey to becoming an entrepreneur. He elaborated on Ujjivan’s vision and mission.
The meeting gathered steam with the ebullient and energetic COO of the North, Vikram Jetley presenting a roadmap for the North and described performance measurement in terms of seven key deliverables: Outreach, Disbursement, Financial Efficiency & Portfolio Quality, Operation Efficiency, Service Quality, Audit Rating and Training.
This was followed by a sumptuous lunch with the menu consisting of the local Shimla cuisine. Post-lunch the team went out to explore the sights and sounds of Shimla. This was followed by a party in the evening with the Ujjivan team hitting the dance floor.
The next morning, the team set out to Kufri, a scenic hotspot, 27km away from Shimla. The steep trek to Kufri included a mule ride too! The trip provided the team with an opportunity to know each other better. Team building exercises fostered team spirit and facilitated bonding amongst team members.
