Nashik Road Branch CRM brings light to customers’ lives’
Mr. Rajay Nikam, CRM Nashik Road branch visited the home of a customer Mrs. Kamal Bhimrao Borkar, as part of a procedural requirement. There he discovered that Mr. Bhimrao Borkar, husband of Kamal was unable to work for the past couple of months due to an eye ailment which was hindering his vision. Rajay enquired further and was informed that Bhimrao had visited a private hospital for treatment but did not avail medical help as the family couldn’t mobilize the Rs. 15,000/- demanded by the hospital for Bhimrao’s cataract operation. The family was disturbed and had lost all hope of Bhimrao being able to regain his vision.

Rajay had worked at the MVP Hospital Medical College before coming to Ujjivan and was aware that the hospital provided free cataract surgery to poor patients. Rajay referred Bhimrao’s

case to the Hospital and the surgery was completed successfully. Today Bhimrao is on the road to a full recovery and would be restarting work soon.
