Rs.1 Billion Loans Disbursed

The month of July has been a very eventful one for Ujjivan, surpassing three important milestones; number of customers, number of employees and amount disbursed. On 16th July 2008, Ujjivan has crossed Rs.1 Billion (Rs 100 Crores) disbursement mark.

Ujjivan soared past the Rs. 25 Crore and Rs. 50 Crore disbursement marks on 3rd October 2007, and 18th February 2008 respectively. Consistently, every additional Rs. 25 Crores is being disbursed in half the time taken by the previous Rs. 25 Crores.
