The Credit Manager will focus on monitoring credit discipline and review policies and procedures of
the credit manual as and when warranted. He/she will be responsible for:
Conducting and monitoring credit loan approvals for respective region
Ensuring that the Product program is properly followed
Reviewing credit processes and incorporating credit inputs into the
product program relating to the region when necessary
Monitoring and enforcing credit discipline norms for borrower, center, area and visit branches to
ensure that proper credit processes are followed
Tracking on-time repayment and generation delinquency reports for the end users
Helping branches to identify and resolve problems on various levels and formulate appropriate strategies
Conducting credit analysis and portfolio analysis and generate MIS reports to ensure exposures as per credit policies
Background
Education:
MBA or Masters in a related field. Background in Economics, Mathematics or Statistics is preferred.
M.com Preferred with 5 years to 10 years experience in credit management
Prior Work Experience: Experience in any area of Financial Services and banking products,
product management, credit or risk management, field work, training & sales and keen to work in the
social sector.
Other Attributes: Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate directly
with field staff & customers. Analytical and project management skills essential. Experience in managerial role is
preferred. Local language skills.
