Reporting to Credit Manager

Job Description

Work at Office

• Approve Loan applications and check supporting documentation for potential customers based on specific approval criteria

• Track repayments and follow-up with branches who have customer repayment issues

• Perform analytical/quantitative analysis of the trends of loan portfolio, repayments and customer base on a monthly basis

Work at Field

• Meetings with customers to obtain further information, feedback, verification of data, and resolve problems.

• Attend customer meetings and visit branches to resolve problems, train staff, obtain feedback etc.

Skills

• Fluency in English, Regional Language

• Knowledge of Microsoft Suite and has experience with use of Software applications

• Communication skills: ability to communicate directly with field staff & customers is very useful

• Strong Analytical skills- Essential for credit trend analysis

• Strong interpersonal skills & teamwork

• Ability to work in the field

• Microfinance and/or past experience working in the Social Sector is helpful

Background

• Master’s in Business Administration or Economics with Statistics

• Keen to work in the social sector
