Regional Chief of Audit
 
Location: Bangalore/ Kolkata / Delhi.

Reporting to: Head of Audit, All India

Job Summary: Lead & manage an audit team which would carry out field & branch audit in the entire region. The job requires planning, executing & reporting of audits.

Desirable Background

           A graduate/post graduate with an aptitude for field work.
           Candidates with 5-8 years experience in field audit from large MFIs, banks or finance companies preferred
           Should be mobile.
           Should be fluent in local language and English.


Responsibilities/Job Descriptions:

           Manage Audit teams across the region through Team Leaders with special emphasis planning, execution               and follow-up of Audits.
           Draw up an annual action plan for conduct of audits in that region; plan deployment of personnel               commensurate with work involved.
           Source appropriate personnel for audits and ensure on the job training with respect to our Audit processes .               Identify & organize for class room & external training
           Guide Team Leaders on analysis of follow-up reports and rectifications, if possible, of deficiencies found.               Guide Team Leaders on detection & quantification of fraudulent transactions and keep constant track of               progress of resolution of such matters in co-ordination with the Risk & Fraud Control Team.
           Supervise Regular & Short Audits of branches and ensure proper allocation of Surprise Audits every month.
           Propose and make dynamic changes in the existing structure of products/processes/field procedures/audit               processes etc depending on the feedback from the field and from experience
           To study the Audit report submitted by various teams, vet the same & submit the same to the Head of Audit               for circulation to the concerned members of the Leadership Team.
           Prepare Executive Summary to the Board on the regional audits & submit the same for vetting to Head of               Audit on quarterly basis.
           Foresee/Forecast developments in the branch and brief Head of Audit on any issue adversely affecting               Branch functioning in order to take preventive action.
           Submit Monthly updates to the Head of Audit/Leadership Team of the Respective Region. Keep Head of               Audit appraised on key findings branch wise.
           Liaison with Risk & Fraud Control Department, Credit Department.
           Supervise &/or conduct Area survey Cross check & train Team Leaders to undertake the process.
