Designation : Program Associate for the Parinaam Urban Ultra Poor Program (UUPP)
Reports to : UUPP Program Manager
Location : Bangalore
Carry out area surveys to identify potential UUP areas
Supervise the community workers (CW) to administer household surveys and analyze the data collected
Assist the Program Manager to plan entry strategies into new areas and interventions rollout plan
Regularly attend center meetings to review progress
Create trainings for the CWs and the beneficiary families
Conduct basic training for the CWs.
Monitor and review trainings conducted by CWs for program members
Supervise counseling, selection and disbursement of livelihood assets
Coordinate applications to vocational training programs or placement agencies
Follow-up with livelihood partners on services provided to beneficiaries
Attend UUPP health camps and ensure their smooth running
Assist in field implementation of financial literacy and inclusion initiatives.
Assess and plan programs based on the academic needs of members’ children
Responsible for production of media content or tools for the UUP Program
Maintain MIS on program activities
Update the Standard Operations Manual with modifications to field procedures
Assist in creating progress reports/presentations for funding agencies / partners
Min. education B.Com / BA from a reputed university
Work experience min - 1 to 2 years. Development sector experience is required.
Corporate sector experience is a plus.
Ideal age profile 24 – 30 years
Proficient in MS Office esp. Excel and PowerPoint
Strong oral and written communication skills
Must be fluent in spoken English, Kannada, Tamil and in written English.
Working knowledge of Hindi is preferred.
