Job Title : Product Manager - South Department : Marketing Reporting to : Head - Product & Marketing
Job Description
Market research • Conduct market research in-house & obtain feedback from field staff & customers
Product design and development • Design product features • Analyze product profitability • Determine product process flow • Develop product program
Product testing & rollout • Conducting product prototype testing, evaluation and refinement • Promotion/Positioning/Training of a product for field staff/customers
Product marketing • Ensure all customer and corporate communication is up to date • Provide monthly regional updates
Product monitoring • Obtain regular feedback from concerned core functions • Work closely with Distribution on feedback (attending center meetings) • Update changes in product features based on feedback • Issue product circulars as and when required
Competitor analysis • Collating information on competitors • Train field staff on handling competition
Customer segmentation / Impact evaluation • Work with project heads on region-specific customer information
Educational Qualifications
Post Graduate in relevant field (e.g. MBA – Marketing) is preferred but not essential if the candidate has relevant work experience and skills. Under graduates may also apply.
Minimum Work Experience
At least 1 year of relevant experience in a managerial role in marketing function is preferred

Communication skills: ability to communicate directly with field staff & customers Strong analytical skills Strong interpersonal skills & teamwork: Requires working with all departments in the organization &
with external parties (Funding Institutions, banks, lawyers etc.) Project management skills: Coordinating and launching new products & services Ability to frequently work in the field to interact with customers and branch staff Proficient in MS Office or equivalent
Probation
Probation is for a period of 3 months. On completion of probation period, the candidate will be assessed for performance and confirmation
