K. R. Ramamoorthy, Non-Executive Chairman of ING Vysya Bank & Former Chairman & CEO of Corporation Bank
Mr.Ramamoorthy is credited with providing transformational leadership to these two banks. He also served as an Advisor to CRISIL, a leading Credit Rating Agency in India. After his career in leadership positions, he has been consulting independently and also through his firm BankConsult, for the World Bank, IMF, IFC and leading commercial banks in India and other developing countries. He serves as an independent director on the Boards of ING Vysya Bank, Fidelity Trustee Company, Clearing Corporation of India and other leading corporations.

Samit Ghosh, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Ujjivan

Samit Ghosh pioneered consumer banking in India with Ravindra Bahl and Jaitirth Rao at Citibank in 1985. He subsequently led the launch of retail banking for Standard Chartered in the Middle East and South Asia and for HDFC Bank in India. His last commercial assignment was Chief Executive India, of Bank Muscat. He has had international banking experience for over thirty years now. He is an alumnus of Jadavpur University and Wharton School.

Sunil Patel, Chartered Accountant and Management Consultant
Sunil Patel is the former Director of A. F. Ferguson and Co. and Partner, A. F. Ferguson Associates. He has had consulting assignments in corporate strategy, FDI, financial services, IT and pharmaceutical sectors. He has an MBA from Wharton Business School.

S. N. Gowan, Nominee Director from SIDBI
Mr. Gowan has over 20 years of experience in various aspects of MSME lending including capacity building and equity investments in microfinance sector. Currently, he is a Deputy General Manager with Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) at their Head Office in Lucknow. He has a B.Sc and an MBA degree.

S Viswanatha Prasad, Fund Manager, Bellwether
Viswanatha Prasad is a senior finance professional responsible for the rapid growth of India’s first regulated MFI, Bharatiya Samruddhi Finance Limited (BASIX Group), where he served as COO/CEO. In 2005, he co-promoted Bellwether, India's first Microfinance Investment Fund.

Geeta Goel, Director - Global Microfinance Initiative, Michael and Susan Dell Foundation
Geeta Goel is the Director for the global microfinance program of the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation. Prior to joining the Foundation, she spent over 12 years with the Corporate Finance Group of PricewaterhouseCoopers in India, advising large Indian and multi-national clients on joint ventures, mergers & acquisitions, equity investments and financing, and valuations. Geeta has also advised clients in capital structuring and raising private equity. She is an alumnus of IIM (Ahmedabad) and Lady Shri Ram College (Delhi). She currently serves on the Boards of Arohan Financial Services, Janalakshmi Financial Services, Swadhaar FinServe, Sonata Financial Services, and Micro Housing Finance Corporation

Christopher Miles Brookfield, Founder and Managing Director, Elevar Equity
Chris Brookfield has been managing the Unitus Equity Fund, which began in 2006 as a boutique, commercial microfinance investment vehicle sponsored by Unitus. Previously, Chris was an entrepreneur and venture capitalist, working primarily across the spectrums of digital wireless, web based marketing and targeting, and software for mobile devices. His most recent position as a conventional venture capitalist was as Managing Director with Northwest Venture Associates where he focused on seed and early stage investing. Chris has served as a Director or observer on the boards of several companies, including SinglePoint, NetMotion Wireless, Sightward, AdRelevance, Action Engine and IP Fabrics. He also previously worked as an analyst in project finance; co-founded Cap & Gown, a youth mentoring program; and served on the Advisory Board of American Rivers, a conservation group. Chris graduated with Honours in Geology from Williams College.

Mohit Bhatnagar, Operating Partner, Sequoia Capital
Mohit Bhatnagar serves on the boards of Bharti Telesoft, Ideacts, Mauj, Nazara, Prizm Payments, Satnav Technologies and SKS Microfinance. Prior to joining Sequoia Capital, Mohit served as the Senior Vice President - Value Added Services at India's leading telecom company, Bharti Cellular Ltd where his experiences spanned electronic payments, mobile entertainment, interactive media and the Internet. Mohit’s first entrepreneurial venture was Brightpod which he co-founded by orchestrating a spin off from Ericsson. Earlier in his career he worked at Ericsson based in North America, Taiwan and Philippines. He received an MBA with distinction from UNC - Chapel Hill and an MSEE in Fibre Optics & Telecom from Virginia Tech.

Venkatesh Natarajan, Managing Director, Lok Capital
Venky Natarajan has almost 15 years of work experience in engineering and investment. Prior to joining Lok, he served in various positions at Intel and Intel Capital, including product manager and strategic investment manager. As a strategic investment manager he was responsible for sourcing, due-diligence, structuring, negotiating, closing and monitoring of Intel Capital's venture investments. He assisted portfolio companies with issues concerning executive recruitment, market positioning, global strategy, fund raising, financial analysis, competitive analysis and strategic relationships. Venky holds an MBA from Cornell University, a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University and a Bachelor's in Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering from Annamalai University, India.
